Below is listed grid reference information for you to enter into your GPS as waypoints, or to help build a route card for your Three Peaks Challenge. Most youth groups will require a completed route card to be produced for any walking expedition.

Creating a route card will help you become familiar with the paths and mountains before you venture into them, and you should also note a number of safe exit routes incase of accidents, injury, or foul weather. Good pre-planning is essential.

The Mountaineering Council of Scotland has produced an information sheet regarding the pro's and con's of leaving a Route Card with a responsible person who is not taking part in your walk. Worth a good read before you go:
