Options For Charity Fundraising Events & Challenges.

For Charities, we offer three popular formats to enable your participants to take part in a well detailed, highly organised event without the Charity Event Organiser having to worry about the organisation of the event itself. However, we can still supply a Safety & Support Service, as well as Event Consulting, if you would prefer to organise your own event from scratch.

Option 1: Your team(s) enter an existing Open Challenge Series event. These events are designed for teams wishing to raise funds for a charity or good cause of their own choice, and are unique in that respect. Some single Three Peaks Challenge events have raised over £250,000 for different charities from a single event. You can book a Team Entry via our online entry system, and pay the entry fee. You collect funds raised, and set any minimum amount required, directly from your Team. You will not need to be involved in any of the organisational aspects or logistics of the challenge event..!

Option 2: Bespoke challenge event for a small group. We can organise charity fundraising events for groups of 6 walkers, taking care of transport, food, accommodation, drivers, mountain leaders, medals and T shirts for finishers. The most popular event is our Classic Three Peaks Challenge over a weekend, which can cost from as little as £300 per person. Most charities require a fundraising minimum of £1000 per person, which produces some £4000 per group or more from a simple weekend challenge.

Option 3: Large bespoke invitation challenge event, for 10 or more teams. Again, the national Three Peaks Challenge is most popular, and we will cater for up to 20 teams of 4-6 walkers, providing all safety, support, training, permissions and venue booking, car parking, etc., as required. We will advise on the various voluntary restrictions for charities on this challenge, and ensure your event is as low impact as possible, with full attention given to ensuring positive reports from stakeholders.

Costs and Returns.

Please contact us with your requirements for a detailed quote. A rough example would be the national Three Peaks Challenge. Our Safety & Support costs are around £6000 for up to 10 teams - each team providing their own vehicles, fuel, food and accommodation. Most charities require fundraising of £3k - £5k per team, which could easily return upwards of £40k per event.
