Merseyventure - Adventure & Challenge

Adventure & Challenge Events for charities, corporates and individuals

Let Merseyventure help you reach new heights and realise your goals.

Welcome to the Merseyventure website.

Merseyventure have been delivering high quality, detailed UK Adventure and Challenge events to charities, corporate clients, and smaller groups of individuals since 2000, with our speciality being low impact national Three Peaks Challenge events (climbing the three highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales consecutively). We are often tasked to consult with larger organisations and groups organising a Three Peaks Challenge as part of a fundraising initiative.

However, this is only a small part of our Adventure and Challenge expertise, and other very popular events include the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, Welsh 3000's, Lake District 24 Peaks, West Highland Way walk or cycle, and our
Open Challenge Series 09 which includes various events open to any teams from any sector. Most challenges are Bespoke Events for corporate groups.
Open Challenge Series 2008. For 2008, this series is sponsored by Coleman Exponent. It is an Open Challenge which means that any team from any background can enter, rather than by invitation only. Events include Welsh 3000's, Yorkshire Three Peaks, national Three Peaks Challenge, and Adventure Challenges. Over 2,000 people have already taken part in the challenges so far this year. Corporate Clients & Bespoke Events. We specialise in large bespoke events for corporate clients. These range from fundraising invitation events to team building events for all levels of staff. Our client list includes many of the most well known corporate organisations, catering for between 10 and 500 participants.
Charity Clients & Events. For charities we are able to offer a bespoke event service for a number of adventure challenges, or alternatively offer charity sponsored team entries into our Open Challenge Series, or organise small group challenges year round which can be booked on demand - the ideal no hassle fundraising option..!
Individuals. All of our Open Challenge Series events are open to entries from individuals forming their own teams from friends, work mates or family. Some events will accept solo entries, such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Sometimes we operate an 'Open Bus' event where you can form a team with other like minded individuals. Please click the 'Individuals' link above to see what is currently available.
Support Services. Wether you are organising your own event, or have employed Merseyventure to organise it for you, we have a huge range of professional support and logistics services available to ensure a safe and enjoyable event. From staff, equipment, vehicles, communications, right through to event permission & insurance.

Merseyventure three peaks challenge consists of climbing ben nevis, scafell pike and snowdon consecutively - usually attempted within a 24 hour period, although some trips are organised at one peak per day, visiting fort william, highlands, wasdale or seathwaite in the lake district, and llanberis in snowdonia.

Our yorkshire three peaks challenge of some 24 miles climbs pen-y-ghent, whernside and ingleborough from horton-in-ribblesdale.

Adventure challenges and distance walking challenges are included in our open challenge series, or can be provided for charities, corporate groups, or individuals on a bespoke basis.

We provide mountain and event support services, logistics, minibuses, safety and first aid facilities, vhf radio communications, plus feeding and control checkpoints.
